This policy explains how the PACoPPDeT website uses cookies and similar storage technologies, why they are needed and how you can control them. We keep our use of cookies to the minimum required to run the site.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences between visits and to gather statistics about how a site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage store data directly in the browser rather than sending it back to the server.
2. Our approach
This website is an informational site for a publicly funded training programme. It does not carry advertising, it does not build behavioural profiles and it does not share data with advertising networks. We use only what is strictly necessary to deliver the site, plus optional aggregate measurement where enabled.

Strictly necessary items do not require consent because the site cannot function correctly without them. Optional analytics are only set where you have agreed to them, and are not active on pages you view before giving consent.
4. Third-party content
Some pages embed content hosted elsewhere, such as web fonts, partner logos or, in future, video from a hosting platform. Those providers may set their own cookies or receive your IP address as part of delivering the content. Where an embed is likely to set tracking cookies we will load it only after you have agreed.
5. How to control cookies
You can accept, block or delete cookies at any time using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of this site to behave unexpectedly, but the content will remain readable.

- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
- Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when the window is closed.
You can clear your saved accessibility preferences by using the Reset option in the accessibility panel, or by clearing site data for this domain.
